There are additional professional development opportunities, such as instructor led training, seminars and certification camps. These special events are priced separately at a discounted rate. Networking functions are held after select meetings and events.

Patrick Millar
Patrick Millar is the Head of Technology for the Institutes’ RiskStream Collaborative, an industry-led consortium working to unlock the potential of distributed ledger technology across the insurance industry. Prior to joining RiskStream, Patrick co-founded several startups in the machine learning and 3D perception spaces. His most recent startup, Love Park Robotics, was sold in January 2018 to ifm Robotics. Prior to working on these startups, Patrick held leadership roles in technology in the Capital Markets, serving as CTO, CIO and CISO for Chatham Financial for over 10 years. During this time Chatham experienced over 10x growth and is now the world’s largest independent hedging advisory and technology firm. Patrick is originally from the UK and holds a Master’s degree in Explosive Cutting from the University of Manchester.
